What is happening?

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE KINGS BENCH DIVISION

In the matter of the Parliamentary by election for the Gorton and Denton constituency to be held on 26 February 2026

Claimants - Matthew Goodwin and Adam Rawlinson

TAKE NOTICE that the Claimants intend to apply to the King's Bench Division of the High Court of Justice at such time as their counsel can be heard for relief under section 167 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 from the consequences of an omission to include an imprint on election literature in breach of section 110 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 due to a third party printer error.
