Exeter Drain Open Channel and Pipeline Refurbishment, Spalding
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the South Holland IDB proposes to carry out works on Exeter Drain, Spalding.
The works will involve replacing the section of pipeline between Halmer Gate and Albert Street, lining and extending the Matmore Gate and Clay Lake Lane pipelines, and replacing the concrete lined open channel section immediately upstream of Clay Lake Pumping Station. Some tree and vegetation removal will be necessary. Any trees removed will be replaced either in the vicinity or at another suitable site.
With reference to the above statutory instrument the Board considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant adverse effects upon the environment and therefore it is not proposed to carry out an environmental assessment in relation to these works. Any person who wishes to make representation to the Board in relation to the environmental effect of these proposed improvements should do so in writing to the address shown below within 28 days of the publication of this notice.
