NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 123(2A)
OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (AS AMENDED)
NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF AREA OF OPEN SPACE
Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Bolton (“the Council”) intends to dispose of a leasehold interest in land that includes an area of open space at the following locations:
Fields at Moss Bank Pavilion and Knowles Playing Fields Moss Bank Way Bolton (ref - LS/HJB/99258)
Land north of Harold Street Bolton (ref - LS/HJB/99324)
A plan showing the area to be included in the disposal can be inspected during regular opening hours at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Bolton BL1 1RU. A copy of this Notice and the above-mentioned plans are available at:
https://www.bolton.gov.uk/rpos
Any objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to Helen Gorman, Borough Solicitor, Bolton Council, Legal Services Town Hall, Bolton BL1 1RU, or by e-mail to legal.services@bolton.gov.uk bearing the reference above by no later than 19th December 2025. All objections received will then be considered by the Council.
