PUBLIC PATH CREATION AGREEMENT
PUBLIC FOOTPATH HOLMFIRTH NO. 232 AT WOLFSTONES HEIGHT, NETHERTHONG
The above Agreement, made on 04 December 2025 under section 25 of the Highways Act 1980, has the effect of creating a public footpath, by agreement with the landowners, commencing at grid reference SE 1268 0911 (Point A on the Agreement Plan) at Wolfstones Road and proceeding in a generally westerly direction for approximately 230 metres to grid reference SE 1247 0908 (point B on the Agreement Plan) at the westerly boundary of land owned by Holme Valley Land Charity, continuing in an east north easterly direction for approximately 9 metres to the Trig Point at grid reference SE 1247 0907 (point C on the Agreement Plan). The width of the footpath is 2 metres between point A and Point B and 3 metres between point B and Point C, and includes an area 1.5 metres around the centre of an existing Ordnance Survey Triangulation Pillar at point C which is a limitation on the public right of way.
The footpath is to be known as Public Footpath Holmfirth No. 233.
Under section 25 Highways Act 1980 there is no right of objection, and the Agreement has taken immediate effect.
