Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended)
Notice is given in accordance with Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) that Lancashire County Council, PO Box 100, County Hall, Preston, PR1 0LD intends to dispose of an area of public open space at Rawtenstall Horncliffe Quarry County Woodlands, Rossendale, Lancashire, BB4 6JS.
The area of open public space to be disposed of measures approximately 9.11 acres (3.69 hectares). Requests for information of the proposed disposal of the public open space process can be made by calling 01772 532450 or by emailing property.sales@lancashire.gov.uk
Any objections or representations regarding the proposed disposal of the public open space at Rawtenstall Horncliffe Quarry County Woodlands, Rossendale, Lancashire, BB4 6JS should be made in writing to The Head of Estates at Lancashire County Council, PO BOX 100, County Hall, Preston PR1 0LD or emailed to estates.admin@lancashire.gov.uk and to be received no later than 5pm on 31st December 2025. The grounds for any objection should be stated.
