SECTION 36 APPLICATION FOR CONSENT Under The Electricity Act For The
Construction And Operation Of The Lees
Hill Renewable Energy Park Comprising
Six Turbines With A Tip Height Of Up To 200M, Solar Pv, Battery Energy Storage
And Associated Infrastructure Scottish Ministers have appointed Mr Nick Smith BSc(Hons) MRTPI to consider and submit a report to them on an application under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 to Lees Hill
Renewable Energy Park Approx 5KM
West of Duns Scottish Borders TD10 6YS. The application (which is available to view on the DPEA web site) is subject to environmental impact assessment and is supported by the following environmental information:
Environmental Impact Assessment Report with supporting figures and appendices. The Reporter will hold Public Hearings to obtain more information on certain matters before he reports to Scottish Ministers on the case. No other matters relevant to this case will be considered at the hearing sessions. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the sessions. Members of the public can follow the proceedings through the broadcast to the internet as part of DPEA’s webcasting service. The webcast recordings will be available to view at: www.youtube.com/@DPEAScotGov Attendees and/or participants may wish to note that this meeting will be broadcast live to the internet as part of DPEA’s webcasting service.
