PUBLIC NOTICE GIVEN UNDER SECTION 123(2A) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO GRANT A LEASE OF OPEN SPACE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the London Borough of Brent (“the Council”) intends to dispose of an area of public open space being Part of Fryent Country Park, Salmon Street, NW9 8YA by way of a lease disposal for a term of 25 years. The area which is proposed to be demised under the lease comprises approximately 60,000 square metres within the open space.

Copy of a plan showing the approximate position of the affected land may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours from Monday to Friday at Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 0FJ (save for bank holidays).

By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to grant the lease of public open space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal.

Any objection or representations regarding the proposed disposal should be made in writing to pam@brent.gov.uk no later than 12 noon on 05 December 2025.

The grounds for any objection should be stated.
