Ar 25ain Tachwedd 2025, cadarnhaodd Cyngor Sir Fynwy heb addasiadau’r Gorchymyn uchod a wnaed ar 12fed Awst 2025 o dan Adran 53(2)(b) o Ddeddf Bywyd Gwyllt a Chefn Gwlad 1981.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fel y’i cadarnhawyd yw ‘addasu’r map a’r datganiad diffiniol ar gyfer yr ardal trwy ychwanegu atynt lwybrau troed 27 a 27A Rogiet fel y dangosir ar fap y Gorchymyn fel yr amlinellir isod:

Llwybr Troed 27 (Rogiet): yn dechrau ar FP13 Rogiet ym Mhwynt G1 (ST4745186866) ac yn parhau ar hyd copa’r morglawdd, tua’r Gorllewin De Orllewinol am 87m i Bwynt H (ST4743868682) i ymuno ag FP13 Rogiet. Yn parhau ar hyd copa’r morglawdd, tua’r Gorllewin De Orllewinol am 218m i bwynt I (ST472386875) i ymuno ag FP13 Rogiet. Yn parhau ar hyd copa’r morglawdd, tua’r De Orllewinol am 196m i Bwynt J (ST4708868663) i ymuno ag FP13 Rogiet wrth giât mochyn metal. Lled o leiaf 2.2m.

Llwybr Troed 27A (Rogiet): yn cychwyn ar FP13 Rogiet ym Mhwynt K (ST468386465) ac yn parhau ar hyd copa’r morglawdd ar led o 2.2m, tua’r gorllewin am 295m i Bwynt L (ST465486463), i ymuno ag FP13 Rogiet. Mae cwt gwarchod yn L yn 2.5m o led, mae’r llwybr troed yn mynd heibio ar ochr y môr ar led o 1.6m. Yn parhau ar hyd copa’r morglawdd ar led o leiaf 2.2m, tua’r de-orllewin am 11m i Bwynt M (ST465386842) wrth giât mochyn fetel. Yn parhau ar hyd copa’r morglawdd ar led o leiaf 2.2m, tua’r de am 38m i Bwynt N (ST465386838) i ymuno ag FP13 Rogiet.

Gellir gweld copï o’r Gorchymyn a’r map yn rhad ac am ddim yn Hyb Cymunedol Cil-y-coed, Ffordd Woodstock, Cil-y-coed, NP26 5DB o ddydd Llun i ddydd Iau 9am i 5pm, dydd Gwener 9am i 4pm a dydd Sadwrn 10am i 1pm. Mae copïau o’r Gorchymyn a’r map ar gael yno yn rhad ac am ddim.

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A MODIFICATION ORDER

SECTION 53 AND SCHEDULE 15 - WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF MONMOUTH

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC FOOTPATHS NO. 27 AND 27A ROGIET

DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2025

On the 25th November 2025, Monmouthshire County Council confirmed without modifications the above order made on the 12th August 2025 under Section 53(2)(b) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them footpaths 27 and 27A Rogiet as shown on the order map as outlined below:

Footpath 27 (Rogiet): commences on FP13 Rogiet at Point G1 (ST4745186866) and proceeds along the crest of the seawall, West South Westerly for 87m to Point H (ST4743868682) to rejoin FP 13 Rogiet. Continuing along the crest of the seawall, West South Westerly for 218m to point I (ST472386875) to rejoin FP13 Rogiet. Continuing along the crest of the seawall, South Westerly for 196m to Point J (ST4708868663) to rejoin FP 13 Rogiet at a metal kissing gate. At a minimum 2.2m width.

Footpath 27A (Rogiet): commences on FP13 Rogiet at Point K (ST468386465) and proceeds along the crest of the seawall at a width of 2.2m, Westerly for 295m to Point L (ST465486463), to rejoin FP13 Rogiet. A sentry hut at L is 2.5m wide, the footpath passes on the seaward side at a width of 1.6m. Continuing along the crest of the seawall at a minimum width of 2.2m, South Westerly for 11m to Point M (ST465386842) at a metal kissing gate. Continuing along the crest of the seawall at a minimum width of 2.2m, Southerly for 38m to Point N (ST465386838) to rejoin FP13 Rogiet.

A copy of the order and map may be seen free of charge at Caldicot Community Hub, Woodstock Way, Caldicot, NP26 5DB Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturday 10am to 1pm. Copies of the order and map are available there free of charge.

If any person is aggrieved by the Order and desires to question its validity, or any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or on the ground that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to that Act, within six weeks from the date of publication of this Notice, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
