What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES (MEMBERS ALLOWANCES) (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2003 (AS AMENDED)
Under the Local Authorities (Members Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 (as amended) the City Council has to make a new Members Allowances Scheme before 1 April each year.
The City Council will be discussing the Council’s members’ allowances for 2026/27 on 3 December 2025.
