New Milton Neighbourhood Plan
What is happening?
NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK - NEW MILTON NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN OPEN FOR CONSULTATION UNDER REGULATION 16 (THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANNING (GENERAL) REGULATIONS 2012).
On Tuesday 18 November 2025 the New Forest National Park Authority approved the New Milton Neighbourhood Plan for consultation over eight weeks commencing Friday 28 November and closing 5pm, Friday 23 January 2026.
During the period of consultation, stakeholders and members of the public will be able to comment on the emerging neighbourhood plan and other submitted documents.
As the neighbourhood area of New Milton falls within both New Forest District Council and the New Forest National Park Authority, the consultation will be hosted by both Authorities. Comments sent to either Authority will be recorded and considered before the neighbourhood plan proceeds to the next stage.
