What is happening?

West Sussex County Council

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS

Do you have a child between the ages 2 and 18 or have an interest in school admissions? If you do, WSCC would like your views on our proposed reductions in Published Admission Numbers in the schools listed below for September 2027 entry.

  • Reduce Bersted Green Primary School from a PAN for Reception of 60 to a PAN of 30
  • Reduce Swiss Gardens Primary School from a PAN for Reception of 60 to a PAN of 30
  • Reduce Upper Beeding Primary School from a PAN for Reception of 45 to a PAN of 30
  • Reduce East Preston Infant School from a PAN for Reception of 90 to a PAN of 60
  • Reduce The Meads Primary School from a PAN for Reception of 45 to a PAN of 30

In addition, we would welcome your views on our proposed admission arrangements and oversubscription criteria (Community and Voluntary Controlled schools) for September 2027 entry, as well as key dates in the admissions process.
