What is happening?

(26 Margreave Road, Derby) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2025 COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND AT 26 MARGREAVE ROAD, DERBY

  1. Notice is hereby given that the Derby City Council has made the Derby City Council (26 Margreave Road, Derby) Compulsory Purchase Order 2025 under section 17(1) (b) of the Housing Act 1985. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise Derby City Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of the provision of housing accommodation.
  2. A copy of the order and of the map referred to therein have been deposited at Derby City Council's offices at the Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS and may be seen at all reasonable hours and on the Council's website https://www.derby.gov.uk/housing/empty homes/compulsory-purchases and available on request by emailing empty.homes@derby.gov.uk
  3. Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, Planning Casework Unit, 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH before 3rd December 2025 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
