What is happening?
Hysbysiad o gyhoeddi’r ymgynghoriad ‘Heriau a Dewisiadau’, Datganiad o Gamau a Mesurau Ymgynghori o dan Reoliad 29 (2b), (3a a b) o Reoliadau’r Amgylchedd Dŵr (Cyfarwyddeb Fframwaith Dŵr) (Cymru a Lloegr) 2017
Cyhoeddodd Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru ei ymgynghoriad Heriau a Dewisiadau ar 21 Hydref 2025. Dyma’r ail mewn cyfres o dri ymgynghoriad cyhoeddus statudol a fydd yn llywio’r broses o ddiweddaru’r Cynlluniau Rheoli Basn Afon, sydd i’w chwblhau erbyn 2027. Mae’r ymgynghoriad hwn ar draws Cymru gyfan yn cwmpasu Ardal Basn Afon Dyfrdwy ac Ardal Basn Afon Gorllewin Cymru, ac mae’n rhoi cyfle i unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb yn yr amgylchedd dŵr neu’r broses cynllunio basn afon gynnig sylwadau ar y materion arwyddocaol o ran rheoli dŵr a’r camau arfaethedig.
Bydd yr ymgynghoriad yn rhedeg o 21 Hydref 2025 tan 21 Ebrill 2026.
Gall unrhyw un gyflwyno sylwadau i Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru ynghylch y Datganiad o Gamau a’r Mesurau Ymgynghori ar gyfer Ardaloedd Basn Afon Dyfrdwy a Gorllewin Cymru drwy gwblhau’r ymgynghoriad arlein yn y safle ymgynghori Citizen Space.

Notice of publication of the ‘Challenges and Choices’ consultation, a Statement of Steps and Consultation Measures under Regulation 29 (2b), (3a and b) of the Water Environment (Water Framework Directive) (England and Wales) Regulations 2017
Natural Resources Wales published it’s Challenges and Choices consultation on the 21 October 2025. This is the second in a series of three statutory public consultations that will inform the updated River Basin Management Plans due in 2027. This Wales-wide consultation covers the Dee River Basin District and the Western Wales River Basin District, and provides an opportunity for anyone with an interest in the water environment or river basin planning to comment on the significant water management issues and proposed steps.
The consultation will run from 21 October 2025 to 21 April 2026.
Any person may make representations to Natural Resources Wales regarding the Statement of Steps and Consultation Measures for the Dee and Western Wales River Basin Districts by completing the online consultation via the Citizen Space consultation hub.
