Ogmore-by-Sea, Consent For Restricted Works On Common
What is happening?
OGMORE COMMON Community Council of St Brides Major Vale of Glamorgan Council
Mrs Patricia Curtis has applied to the Welsh Ministers for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Ogmore Common.
The proposed works are: engineering works including backfilling to a proposed retaining wall and associated trench works, ground remediation / re-profiling works together with the erection of temporary fencing and barriers to exclude, protect and segregate the public and grazing livestock from the works area of 890 square metres. (0.089 hectares). The works will be located to the north, south, east and west of a property known as "The Look-out", Ogmore-by-Sea, CF32 0AQ.
A copy of the application form and maps showing the proposed works can be inspected at Welsh Coffee Corner Cafe and the Ogmore-by-Sea Community Hall, Sion Lane, Ogmore-by-Sea, CF32 0PN between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm weekdays (not public holidays) and 9:00am and 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday until the twenty-seventh day of November 2025. Any objections or representations should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE that date to PEDW at Crown Buildings, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ, or PEDW.Casework@gov.wales. Letters sent to PEDW cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.
