NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257
(Public Footpath 11 (Part) and (Public Footpath 24 (Part) in the Parish of Tushingham Cum Grindley) Public Path Diversion Order 2025
The above Order was made on the 14 August 2025. The effect of the Order will be to divert part of Public Footpath 11 and Public Footpath 24 in the Parish of Tushingham Cum Grindley. The proposed diversion of FP11 commences at OSGR SJ 5266 4660 then runs in a north easterly direction for approximately 282 metres to join the existing footpath at SJ 5273 4687.
The proposed diversion of FP24 commences at OSGR SJ 5273 4687 then runs in a north westerly direction for approximately 248 metres to join Tushingham Cum Grindley BR10 at OSGR SJ 5249 4697.
Copies of the Order and plan have been deposited and a scan copy or a postal copy may be requested by email application to the following address PublicRightOfWayWest@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk or by post to PROW, Highway Office, Guilden Sutton, CH3 7EX.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing or delivered in writing, addressed to the Highway Commissioner, c/o PROW, Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council Highway Office, Guilden Sutton Lane, CH3 7EX not later than 28 days after 16 October 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, then Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations and objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
