THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

STATUTORY CONSULTATION PROPOSING REMOVAL OF

COMMON GOOD STATUS FROM SECTIONS OF HUNTER’S

HALL PARK, THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW PRIMARY

SCHOOL WITH NURSERY AND EARLY YEARS SERVICES AND CLOSURE OF GREENGABLES NURSERY SCHOOL.

We want your views on proposals to remove Common Good status from sections of Hunter’s Hall Park, to build a new nondenominational primary school with nursery and early years services in Hunter’s Hall Park (incorporating the existing Greengables Nursery School) and close Greengables Nursery School at its current site. This would involve the creation of a catchment area for the new school and catchment changes to nearby schools. This would affect the existing Greengables Nursery and catchment areas of Brunstane, Castleview, Newcraighall, and Niddrie Mill primary schools, and Castlebrae Community Campus, and Portobello High School.

Find more information and give us your views by visiting: www.edinburgh.gov.uk/huntershallproposals

Copies of the consultation paper are available for inspection at the Council Offices at City Chambers and Waverley Court, at Craigmillar Library, at the Jack Kane Centre, at Greengables Nursery and at the schools affected by the proposals.
