NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257
The Lichfield District Council
(Public Footpath No.11 (Part) in the Parish of Curborough & Elmhurst)
Public Path Diversion Order 2025
The above Order was made on 9 October 2025. The effect of the Order will be to divert that part of footpath No.11 (Part) in the Parish of Curborough & Elmhurst commencing at Grid Reference SK 1258 1191 (Point A on the Plan) and running in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 51 meters to Grid Reference SK 1269 11812 (Point C on the Plan on to a line commencing at Grid Reference SK 1258 1191 (Point A on the Plan), then proceeding in a southerly, then easterly direction for approximately 40 meters to Grid Reference SK 1260 1181 (Point B on the Plan), then continuing easterly for a short distance before turning and running south easterly for a distance of approximately 119
meters to its junction with Public footpath, Curborough & Elmhurst No 12 at Grid Reference SK 1269 1183 (Point D on the Plan) as shown on the order plan.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map may be viewed on the Council’s website or at the offices of Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.
Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing to the Governance Services, Lichfield District Council, District Council House, Frog Lane, Lichfield, WS13 6YU not later than 17 November 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Lichfield District Council may themselves confirm the Order as an Unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
