Onshore Wind Development at Immingham Port
The public are invited to attend a consultation as part of
Associated British Ports (ABP) plans to install onshore wind turbines at the Port of Immingham. Plans are being developed form up to two turbines at Immingham. These would be additional to the two turbines that were submitted into planning in March 2024  and would mean four turbines in total at the port if all are consented. The turbines are important to help control the cost of electricity and directly decarbonise port
electricity, thereby helping to safeguard existing jobs
at the port and hopefully provide a foundation for industrial growth.
How to Participate
The consultation will take place at Immingham Civic
Centre, on Tuesday 21st of October between 4:30pm and 7pm. At this event people can view the proposed plans and talk to members of the project team.
