Notice is hereby given that an application has been submitted to Aberdeenshire Council for Planning Permission in Principle for Onshore Transmission Infrastructure for Buchan Offshore Wind including Landfall Point, Cable Route Corridor, Cable Circuits, Erection of Substation, Control Building and Associated Works to connect to the Transmission Grid at Buchan Offshore Wind, Rattray Bay to Peterhead Substation, Southwest of Peterhead.

Reference: APP/2025/1617

Notice is hereby given under Regulation 21 that an environmental impact assessment has been submitted by Buchan Offshore Wind.

During the period of 30 days beginning with the date of this notice, a copy of the environmental impact assessment, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application may be viewed using the online Planning Register at https://upa.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/online-applications/. Copies of the environmental impact assessment may be purchased from Buchan Offshore Wind Ltd, 3/2 58 Waterloo Street, Glasgow, G2 7DA at a cost of £1000. Comments may be made quoting the reference number and stating clearly the grounds for making comment. Comments can be submitted using the Planning Register when viewing the application. Alternatively, comments can be addressed to Aberdeenshire Council, Planning and Economy Service, Viewmount, Arduthie Road, Stonehaven, AB39 2DQ. Please note that any comment, where considered valid, will be published on the Planning Register.
