What is happening?

PEMBROKESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

The Local Government Act 2000

and

The Local Authorities (Referendums) (Petitions and Directions) (Wales) Regulations 2001

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the Local Government Act 2000 and in pursuance of The Local Authorities (Referendums) (Petitions and Directions) (Wales) Regulations 2001, that the number that is equal to 10% of the number of local government electors for the Authority’s area as shown in the Register of Electors published and having effect on 6 October 2025 is 99,226.

The number published above shall have effect for the purposes of determining the validity of petitions to hold a referendum under the above Regulations presented during the petition period commencing on 6 May 2026 and ending on 6 November 2026.

HYSBYSIR gyda hyn yn unol â Deddf Llywodraeth Leol 2000, a chan ddilyn Rheoliadau Awdurdodau Lleol (Referenda) (Deisebau a Cyfarwyddiadau) (Cymru) 2001, mai yw’r nifer sy’n cyfateb i 10% o nifer yr etholwyr llywodraeth leol ar gyfer ardal yr Awdurdod fel a welir yng Nghofrestr yr Etholwyr a gyhoeddir ac sy’n dod i rym ar 6 Hydref 2025 yw 99,226.

Bydd angen sêl bendith y nifer a gyhoeddir uchod i sicrhau deiseb ddilys i gynnal refferendwm o dan y Rheoliadau uchod a gyflwynir yn ystod y cyfnod deisebu sy’n cychwyn ar 6 Mai 2026 ac yn dod i ben ar 6 Tachwedd 2026.
