SCHOOL ESTATE - STATUTORY CONSULTATION
PROPOSAL TO RELOCATE EYEMOUTH PRIMARY SCHOOL AND BUILD OF NEW EARLY YEARS CENTRE
Scottish Borders Council has voted to proceed to a Statutory Consultation on proposals regarding:
1. Relocation of Eyemouth Primary School currently situated on Coldingham Road, Eyemouth to a reconfigured and extended Eyemouth High School building at Gunsgreenhill, Eyemouth TD14 5LZ which will accommodate the relocation of Eyemouth Primary school (Children in Primary 1 to Primary 7)
2. Reconfiguration and extension work is undertaken to Eyemouth High School, to provide for the relocation of Eyemouth Primary School.
3. The Current Eyemouth Primary School and associated accommodation is demolished.
4. An Early Learning and Childcare (ELC/Nursery) provision is located within a purpose-built Early Years and Family centre on the site of the existing primary school, once demolished.
Under The Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010 (As Amended).
The Statutory Consultation period is opening on Monday 6 October and will run until 8 December 2025.
A public meeting will be held on Wednesday 12 November at 6pm - 7pm at Eyemouth High School. All Welcome and invited.

Please be aware that the Consultation will open on Monday 6 October 2025 and will close on 8 December 2025 inclusive to have your say on the Proposals.
