LEMAN 27J JACKET AND PIPELINE
DECOMMISSIONING PROGRAMMES
Perenco UK Limited has submitted, for the consideration of the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, a draft Decommissioning Programmes (DPs) for the Leman 27J jacket and pipeline PL207, in accordance with the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1998. It is a requirement of the Act that interested parties be consulted on such decommissioning proposals.
The DPs detail the planned removal of the Leman 27J jacket and pipeline PL207. This includes the PL207 riser section attached to the Leman 27J jacket and seabed laid pipeline that terminates at the tee junction on pipeline PL206.
Leman 27J is located in the Leman gas field (UKCS Block 49/27) in the Southern North Sea, approximately 53km northeast of Bacton Gas Terminal, off the coast of East Anglia. Its coordinates are WGS84 Latitude: 53° 01’ 54.9164” N and Longitude: 02° 13’ 04.2255” E.
The Leman 27J installation is located within the boundary of the North Norfolk Sandbanks and Saturn Reef Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and the Southern North Sea SAC protected areas.
Perenco UK Limited hereby gives notice that a digital copy of the draft Leman 27J Jacket and Pipeline DPs can be viewed and downloaded online at https://www.perenco.com/documentation.
Alternatively, a hard copy of the Decommissioning Programme can be inspected at the location given below during office hours.
Representations regarding the Leman 27J Jacket and Pipeline DPs should be submitted in writing or electronically to the following address, where they should be received by the closing date of 31st October 2025 and state the grounds upon which any representations are being made.
