Statutory Proposal for Enlargement of St Anthony’s School
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Extract of Part 1 of Schedule 3 and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to The School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2007 (as amended by the Education Act 2013):
that WSCC, County Hall, West Street, Chichester PO19 1RG, proposes the enlargement St Anthony’s School with effect from 1 September 2027:
To expand St Anthony’s School by 50 additional specialist school places, increasing St Anthony’s planned place numbers from 248 to 298 with effect from September 2027 This notice is an extract of the complete proposal.

Within five weeks from the date of publication of this proposal, any person may object to, or make comment upon the proposal, by sending their representations to: The School Organisation Team, WSCC, Ground Floor Northleigh, County Hall, West Street, Chichester, PO19 1RG: by emailing
SchoolConsultations@westsussex.gov.uk or by completing the online survey via yourvoice.westsussex.gov.uk 
Any objections or comments must be received by 2355 hours on 6 November 2025.
Explanatory Notes
WSCC will determine the statutory notice within two months of the end of the representation period. If the Council fails to determine the notice within this time, it will pass all relevant material to the Schools Adjudicator who will determine the notice
