What is happening?
MEMBERS’ ALLOWANCES 2024/25
In accordance with the Local Authorities (Members’ Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003, the schedule below lists the Members’ Allowances paid in accordance with the Swale Borough Council Members’ Allowances Scheme for the financial year 2024/25.
Under these regulations each Councillor is entitled to claim the Basic Allowance and those Councillors who have identified Special Responsibilities can claim the Special Responsibility Allowance applicable. Travel allowances are made in accordance with the mileage rates published in the Council’s Members’ Allowances Scheme.
The Members’ Allowances Scheme can be inspected on the Council’s website or during normal office hours at the Council Offices, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne.
