Public Path Diversion Order 2025


The above-named Order made on 25 th September 2025 by the Shropshire Council (“the Council”) under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert approximately 161m of Footpath 2 at Ivy House Farm from grid references SJ 3314 2238 to SJ 3298 2241 onto a line approximately 197m in length, from grid reference SJ 3314 2238 along a field edge before travelling over an unsealed track to meet Restricted Byway 1 at grid reference SJ 3299 2242.

@shropshire.gov.uk,

not later
than 23 rd October 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
