City Of Newcastle Upon Tyne - Propose To Dispose Of Open Space Land
What is happening?
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE SECTION 122(2A) OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intends to appropriate from General Fund to Housing Revenue Account a piece of land comprising approximately 1887 square metres situate on the North East side of Hillhead Parkway Newcastle upon Tyne (“the Land”) for housing development purposes.
The Land comprises open space for the purposes of Section 122(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 and a plan identifying the Land may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Customer Services, City Library, 33 New Bridge Street West, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8AX.
Any representation relating to the proposed disposal should be made in writing no later than 7 October 2025 and sent to the address below (quoting reference JS/CC/124691).
