CONSULTATION DOCUMENT
Melton Borough Council is seeking views on its proposed new Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy. The new policy sets out the
principles and conditions that will be applied when licensing hackney carriages, private hire vehicles, drivers and operators.
The document is available on Melton Borough Council’s website at www.melton.gov.uk or a hard copy can be sent to you upon request. A copy will also be available for you to view at Melton Borough Council’s Offices at the address below.
Melton Borough Council welcomes comments for consideration during the consultation period which will run for 8 weeks from 8 September 2025 to
2 November 2025.
