MARINE AND COASTAL ACCESS ACT 2009 APPLICATION FOR Hornsea Project Three OWF Contingency Phase UXO Clearance

Notice is hereby given that Mr David King of Orsted Limited, Howick Place, London, has applied to the Marine Management Organisation under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake in the management of up to three confirmed unexploded ordnances (cUXO) encountered within the transmission or generation assets areas of the Hornsea Three DCO Order Limits during the construction phase of the project. UXO clearance will be considered where a cUXO is in close proximity to an area with planned construction works or located in close proximity to an existing Hornsea Three asset. To minimise disturbance to sensitive receptors in the area, only Low Order Deflagration (LOD) will be selected as the UXO clearance method.

Copies of the application and associated information may be viewed on line in the Public Register at www.gov.uk/check-marine-licence-register.

Representations in respect of the application should ordinarily be made by:

However, we will also accept representations via the following formats:

- By email to marine.consents@marinemanagement.org.uk; or alternatively

- By letter addressed to Marine Management Organisation, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7AR
