What is happening?

NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPROPRIATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the Local Government Act 1972 Section 126(4A), the Wormington Parish Meeting intends to appropriate the parcel of land, next to St Katharine’s Church, WR12 7NL as shown edged red on the plan and which forms an open space for the purposes of the Open Spaces Act 1906 Section 10. The land measures 603 sqm. The land is proposed to be appropriated to a pleasure ground for the purposes of the Public Health Act 1875 to enable improved facilities and management of the land including the erection of a semi-permanent marquee.

The plan of the of the land is available for inspection at College Barn, Wormington, WR12 7NL between 9am and 5pm.

Any representations or objections with respect to the proposal must be made in writing to the Clerk, Simon Browning, Wormington Parish Meeting College Barn, Wormington WR12 7NL or (Email: wpmclerk@gmail.com) to be received no later than a date 21 days from date of notice.
