NISSAN RENAULT DIESEL NOx EMISSIONS GROUP PROCEEDINGS

The group proceedings relate to claims arising in Scotland from the diesel NOx emissions issues affecting certain Nissan and Renault vehicles with diesel engines manufactured to Euro 5 or Euro 6 emissions standards (excluding Euro 6d and Euro 6d Temp). The pursuers allege that defeat devices unlawfully reduced the effectiveness of said vehicles’ nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions control systems and the defenders have caused loss and damage to the pursuers.
