What is happening?

Draft Climate Action Plan Consultation

The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has published a consultation on Northern Ireland’s first draft Climate Action Plan. DAERA has been leading the development of the draft Climate Action Plan on behalf of the Northern Ireland Executive.

The draft Climate Action Plan sets out what we can do to reduce the amount of harmful greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. The consultation provides an opportunity to talk about how we should tackle the impacts of climate change to meet our climate goals.

There is a public consultation event taking place in your area:

Central Hall, South West College (Erne Campus),

04 September 2025, 2pm–4pm
