What is happening?

SECTION 123 (2A)

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972

NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE LAND

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Oxford City Council intends to dispose of land part of which is currently held as Public Open Space following the consultation process and subject to Cabinet Approval in September 2025.

The land intended for disposal are as follows;

The land known as Carfax Café, Carfax Churchyard Gardens, Oxford, OX4 1HP and shown marked Area 3 on the Plan.

Plans showing the area to be disposed are available for inspection during normal office hours 9:00 to 17:00 at Oxford City Council, Town Hall, St Aldates, Oxford, OX1 1BX.

Any objections or representations concerning the intended disposals must be made in writing and addressed to the Head of Law and Governance, at Oxford City Council, Town Hall, St Aldates, Oxford, OX1 1BX no later than by close of business 5pm on 4th September 2025.
