What is happening?

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123 (1) and (2A)

Land bounded by Moss Lane East, Barnhill Street, Raby Street and Princess Road, Moss Side

Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council intends to dispose of open space land of approximately 1.32 acres. The disposal of open space land by way of a long lease to Mosscare St. Vincent’s Housing Group Limited will facilitate the development of the site for residential purposes.

The open space land is located in the Moss Side area, Manchester. It is adjacent and to the west of Barnhill Street and is more particularly shown edged red on the relevant plan, a copy of which may be requested by emailing elliot.hines@manchester.gov.uk.

Objections to the intended disposal must be sent to me in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk so as to be received no later than 12 September 2025. Please quote reference L/JGH/ EST001/93050.
