What is happening?
WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL
COMMUNITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the arrangements for the Election of Members to serve on all 40 community councils across West Lothian for the period to September/October 2029.
1 The closing date for acceptance of nominations for election to all community councils will be Thursday 4 September 2025 at 5.00 pm. No late nominations can be accepted.
2 The closing date for withdrawal of nominations in the event of possible election will be Thursday 11 September 2025 at 5.00 pm.
3 The date of Election (if required) will be Thursday 16 October 2025 to be preceded by publication of Notices of Poll.
Nomination packs can be downloaded from the council's website at www.westlothian.gov.uk/communitycouncils, by emailing community.councils@westlothian.gov.uk or by telephoning 01506 281609.
