Public Notice 

The Cornwall Council (Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No.2)(Part 2) Order 2024 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council made the above Order on 5th August 2025, under Section 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act. 

This Notice is intended to provide an indication of the Order's provisions; 

1. That the following Parking Places are removed from Schedule 1 of the Original Order: Pentire Headland, Newquay This Notice is intended to provide an indication of the Order's provisions. 

A copy of the final Order may be inspected at any Cornwall Council library (check locally for opening times) using the public access computers. 

Copies may also be viewed at - www.cornwall.gov.uk/Parking The consultation for this amendment was advertised under the title 'The Cornwall Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2025'. In accordance with best practice, it has been determined that amending the current 'Order' is more appropriate than issuing a new 'Order'. The consultation process and the feedback received therein have been duly considered and applied to this amendment. 

The Order will come into effect on 11th August 2025 and will be cited as 'The Cornwall Council (Off Street Parking Places) (Amendment No.2)(Part 2) Order 2024' Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
