What is happening?

BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123(A) PROPOSED DISPOSAL(S) OF OPEN SPACE AT KINGS PARK IN BOURNEMOUTH BY WAY OF A LONG LEASE AND/OR TRANSFERRING THE FREEHOLD TO AFC BOURNEMOUTH LIMITED

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to dispose of the land at King's Park, Bournemouth by way of granting a long lease and/or transferring the freehold and which forms part of open spaces in Bournemouth for the use by AFC Bournemouth Limited.

This proposal includes land already leased to AFC Bournemouth Limited. Any representations or objections to the disposal(s) must be made in writing by 12 p.m. on 15th August 2025 addressed to Estates Manager, BCP Council, Civic Centre, Bourne Avenue Bournemouth, BH2 6DY, or by email estates@bcpcouncil.gov.uk subject 'AFC disposal notice'. A plan of the location and extent of the land (referred to above) may be inspected at the Customer Service Centre, St Stephen's Road, BH2 6EB during normal business hours (Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 4pm) or viewed on our website Public notices of our proposals.
