The Church Commissioners have prepared a draft amending scheme providing for the sale of the closed church building of New Bury St James for Christian worship, services and other religious activities in accordance with the rites and customs of the Christ Apostolic Church Dominion Outreach or any other body designated by the Bishop for the time being of Manchester and for purposes ancillary thereto.
A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected on the church door at New Bury St James, St James Street, Farnworth, BL4 9SL. You may also access the draft Scheme on the Commissioners’ website from the link to draft schemes online at www.churchofengland.org/consultation or obtain or inspect a copy during normal office hours at the Church Commissioners’ office by applying to Stephen Hughes. Large print and/or audio copies are available on request.
