What is happening?

P525/25 - Petition for authority under Section 75(2) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 

NOTICE is hereby given that:- 

1. a Petition under Section 75(2) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 has been presented to the Court of Session by West Lothian Council, a local authority constituted under the Local Government etc (Scotland) Act 1994 and having its headquarters at West Lothian Civic Centre, Howden South Road, Livingston, West Lothian, EH54 6FF seeking authorisation for the disposal of land forming part of the common good by granting a lease of Meadowpark Pavillion, Bathgate to Bathgate Thistle Community Football Club. 

2. a copy of the Petition and the interlocutor ordering service can be found at: https://www.westlothian.gov.uk/meadowbank-petition 

3. Any person having an interest may lodge Answers to the Petition. Answers must be lodged with the Office of Court, Court of Session, 2 Parliament Square, Edinburgh, EH1 1RQ within 21 days after the date of this Notice.
