What is happening?

THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.6 (PART)

PARISH OF WEXHAM) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025

On 15 July 2025, Buckinghamshire Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A (2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from SU99802-82254 SE for 17m to SU99813-82239 as shown by a bold continuous line on the Order map, to a line running from SU99802-82254 ESE for 100m to SU99886-82209 as shown by a bold broken line on the Order map and having a width of 2.5m throughout. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, 6th Floor, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk.

The Order came into force on 22 July 2025, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 1 August 2025, make an application to the High Court.
