NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF ALLESTREE HALL, ALLESTREE PARK, DERBY, DE22 2EU
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Derby City Council (‘the Council’) intends to dispose of an area of public open space being land at Allestree Hall, Allestree Park, Derby, DE22 2EU by way of a long leasehold disposal.
The area which is proposed to be sold comprises approximately 8.7 acres of public open space.
Copies of the plan showing the position of the affected land may be inspected at the main offices of Derby City Council at The Council House, Corporation Street, Derby DE1 2FS from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and viewed on the Council website at www.derby.gov.uk
By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of public open space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal. Any objection or representations regarding the proposed disposal should be made in writing to Ben White, Head of Estates & Property Review at estates.COR@derby.gov.uk no later than 12 noon on 12th August 2025 The grounds for any objection should be stated.
