Newton And Summerland Cliffs Common - Commons Act 2006 To Carry Out Restricted Works

IFG Developments Ltd has applied to the Welsh Ministers for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on NEWTON AND SUMMERLAND CLIFFS COMMON .
The proposed works are:
To lay new buried services within a private driveway adjacent Caswell Road which is designated registered common land. The works will involve the excavation of a trench and laying of drainage/service ducts and reinstatement, approximately 8m long 1m deep undertaken in sections, with road plates and fencing to allow vehicular and pedestrian traffic to pass. The works will be located near No 70 Caswell Road and the east corner of Bishop’s Wood Nature Reserve.
A copy of the application form and map showing the proposed works can be inspected at the Co-Op, 147 Mumbles Rd, Mumbles which is publicly viewable Monday to Saturday 7am to 10pm until the 31st day of August 2025.

Any objections or representations should be sent in writing ON or BEFORE that date to PEDW at Crown Buildings, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ, or pedw.casework@ gov.wales. Letters sent to the PEDW cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly to other interested parties.
