West End Land - Notice of Disposal of Open Space Land

ELMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL 

NOTICE OF DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE LAND AT: WEST END RECREATION GROUND, WEST END LAND, ESHER, SURREY, KT10 8LB 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Section 123(2A) Local Government Act 1972, that Elmbridge Borough Council (“the Council”) intends to dispose of an area of public open space. 

The proposed disposal is of two leases of open space land as follows: 

(1) with an approximate area of 1,938 m2 / 20,864 sq ft in an area located within West End Recreation Ground and being south of the River Mole (“Property 1”); and 

(2) with an approximate area of 38,162 m2 / 410,772 sq ft in an area located within West End Recreation Ground being south of the River Mole and being adjacent to Property 1 (“Property 2”). 

Plans showing the extent of both Property 1 and Property 2 to be so disposed of may be inspected at the Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey KT10 9SD on Monday to Friday each week (public holidays excepted) until 15th August 2025. 

The Council will consider any objections to the proposed disposal as may be made to it. 

Any person objecting to the above proposal should write to: Head of Assets & Property, Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey KT10 9SD no later than 15th August 2025 giving full particulars of the grounds of his or her objection.
