Highways Act 1980 

The Cornwall Council Public Footpath No. 19 St Ives (Part) (Forge Fields) Public Path Diversion Order 2025 

The above Order made by Cornwall Council on 10th July 2025 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will, if confirmed, divert a length of Public Footpath number 19 in the Parish of St Ives commencing at its junction with another part of Footpath 19 St Ives to be retained approximately 8 meters north-north-west of "4 Forge Fields" at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SW 54302/37440 and continuing in a generally south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 52 meters to a point where it terminates at its junction with classified road A3074 approximately 48 meters south-west of "4 Forge Fields" at OSGR SW 54274/37398. 

A copy of the order and order map may be downloaded from Cornwall Council's website at https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment/countryside/public-path-orders/made-public-path-orders/ and have also been placed and may be seen free of charge at St Ives Library and Information Service, Gabriel Street, St Ives, TR26 2LX between the hours of 9:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Saturday. Alternatively copies of the order and order map may be obtained free of charge from prow orders@ cornwall.gov.uk. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Officer at Cornwall Council, Public Rights of Way Team, P 0 Box 676, Three milestone, Truro TR1 9EQ or by email to proworders@cornwall.gov.uk. (quoting reference HAD 268) no later than Monday 21st August 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, then Cornwall Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. 

If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
