What is happening?
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123(1), (2A)
LAND AT GROSVENOR ROAD WALKDEN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Salford City Council intends to dispose of open space land having a total area of approximately 346.72 Sq.m located at Grosvenor Road Walkden. The land will be disposed to a local charity and utilised to build two semi-detached houses.
The land subject to this notice and described above, is more particularly shown edged red on the deposited plan which may be inspected at the Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5AW between 8.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive and also on Salford City Council’s website at the following address: https://www.salford.gov.uk/your-council/public-notices/
Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested via email at phlegal@manchester.gov.uk
Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and sent to Sarah Malone, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5AS, so as to be received no later than 1st August 2025.
