THE CORNWALL COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH No. 1, ST MABYN (PART) (RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF 14 DWELLINGS WITH ASSOCIATED WORKS) AT CHAPELFIELD DIVERSION ORDER 2017
On 15 July 2025, Cornwall Council confirmed the above order. The effect of the Order, as confirmed, is to divert part of Public Footpath Number No. 1 in the Parish of St Mabyn commencing at a junction with part of Public Footpath No. 1 to be retained 61 metres west of "7 The Crescent" at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SX 0422/7330 and continuing in a east-north-easterly direction for a distance of 76 metres then in a north-easterly direction fora distance of 64 metres to a junction with another part of Public Footpath No. 1 to be retained 84 metres north-east of "7 The Crescent" at OSGR SW 0432/7338 to a point where it has a junction with that part of Public Footpath No. 1 in the Parish of St Mabyn from a junction with part of Public Footpath No.1 to be retained 61 metres west of "7 The Crescent" at OSGR SX 0422/7330 and continuing in north-north-easterly then north-easterly then east-north-easterly direction for a total of 156 metres to a junction with another part of Public Footpath No.1 to be retained 84 metres north-east of "7 The Crescent" at OSGR SW 0432/7338.

Copies of the order as confirmed, and the order map may also be requested free of charge (quoting ref TAD 090) by email from proworders@cornwall.gov.uk
The order comes into force on the date on which Cornwall Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that any provision contained in it on the ground that that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.
