LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976 SECTION 70 HACKNEY CARRIAGE, PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLES AND OPERATORS' LICENCE FEES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the South Staffordshire District Council propose to vary the fees for Hackney Carriage, Private Hire Vehicle and Operators' Licences within the as follows:- district Private Hire Operators 1 Year 5 Years
(Large - More than 4 Vehicles) Initial £1,000 N/A
Renewal £250 £750
(Small - 4 Vehicles or Less)
Initial £1,000 N/A
Renewal £750 £3,000
Vehicles 6 months 12 months
Hackney Carriage
Up to 16 years Old N/A £175
Exceptional Condition
Assessment required at 16 years and each subsequent 6 months £120 N/A
Private Hire Vehicle
(over 12 years old only) £175
(Under 10 years old only) £175
Fast track application £180 £180

In accordance with S70(3)(b) of the Local Government
(Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 a copy of this notice
may be inspected without payment during normal office
hours at Licensing Services, until 2025. 15 August
Any objections to the proposed variations should be made in
writing or via email to the undersigned by 2025. 15 August
