Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 - Sections 53(2) & 70(3) 

Notice is hereby given that Leicester City Council, in accordance with the provisions of Sections 53(2) & 70(3) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, proposes to vary the following Table of Fees in respect of Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing.

Objections to the variation of fees may be made in writing to Head of Service, Regulatory Services, Licensing, Leicester City Council, City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester, LE1 1FZ or email licensing@leicester.gov.uk on or before 1 August 2025.

If no objections are received by 1 August 2025 or if all objections received are withdrawn, the proposed variation of fees shall come into effect shortly after following consideration by the Council.

If any objections are received in response to this Notice on or before 1 August 2025 and are not withdrawn, then the variation of fees shall come into effect with or without modification shortly after following consideration of the said objections by the Council.
