What is happening?

HUMBER BRIDGE BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION BY THE HUMBER BRIDGE BOARD TO APPLY TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT FOR CONFIRMATION OF BYELAWS RELATING TO THE HUMBER BRIDGE.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 98 of the Humber Bridge Act and Section 236 of the Local Government Act 1972 that the Humber Bridge Board has made byelaws relating to the Humber Bridge and intends to apply to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation of these byelaws.

A copy of the proposed byelaws in respect of which the application for confirmation is to be made can be inspected free of charge during normal office hours for a period of one calendar month from the date of publication of this notice at:

1.The Hessle Centre, Southgate, Hessle, HU13 0RB;

2.Church Square House, 30-40 High Street, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN15 6NL;

3.Municipal Offices, Town Hall Square, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 1HU; and The Wilson Centre, 1 Alfred Gelder Street, Kingston upon Hull, HU1 2AG.

A copy of the proposed byelaws, or any part thereof, can be obtained at a charge of 10p for every hundred words contained in the copy by making an application to the Humber Bridge Board.

Alternatively, the proposed byelaws can be viewed on the Humber Bridge website at www.humberbridge.co.uk

During the period of one calendar month from the day on which this notice is published, any person affected by the new byelaws may make representations to mail@ humberbridge.co.uk by 11 August 2025.
