St James’ Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne - Issue Of Special Safety Certificate
What is happening?
NEWCASTLE CITY COUNCIL
SAFETY OF SPORTS GROUNDS ACT 1975 (AS AMENDED BY THE FIRE SAFETY AND SAFETY OF PLACES OF SPORT ACT 1987)
ISSUE OF SPECIAL SAFETY CERTIFICATE FOR ST JAMES’ PARK, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with Regulation 5(5) of the Safety of Sports Grounds Regulations 1987, that on 10 June 2025 Newcastle City Council issued a Special Safety Certificate to Newcastle United Football Club Ltd in respect of the Sam Fender concerts at St James’ Park stadium scheduled for 12th , 14th and 15th June 2025.
A copy of the Certificate may be viewed by sending an email request to building.control@newcastle.gov.uk
