NOTICE OF PROPOSED SALE OF DETAINED TRANSPORTER


Description of Transporter (including any distinguishing features or markings that may serve to identify it):
A white Mercedes Actros tractor unit with light damage markings to the front bumper with the Company name (Sedico) across the top of the cab and on the left side driver’s door. Make / Model: Mercedes Actros 1848, Registration number WL6164S, mileage: 808181km, country of registration – Poland; and A white Polish registered Schmitz Ferroplast refrigerated trailer unit with Company name, logo and website (Sedico) on the top right hand door. Registration number WGM8040P. On 13 May 2025, the above Transporter was detained under section 36A of the Act as security for the payment of one or more penalties due under section 32 of the Act. The Secretary of State for the Home Department hereby gives notice that unless payment of the sum due and any connected expenses is made within 21 days of the date of publication of this notice, the Secretary of State shall, without further notice, apply to the court for leave, under Schedule 1 to the Act, to sell the Transporter. Any person who considers their interests may be affected by any sale of the Transporter is hereby invited to inform the Secretary of State, via the Secretary of State’s appointed legal representatives, at the below address, in writing, within 21 days of the date of publication of this notice if they wish to become a party to the proceedings on the application.
